insights & preceived affordance
By mimicing bone trabaculae geometric structural characteristic, with full utilisation of the efficiency of the transverse trabeculae, exceptional mechanical properties should be achieved through these features rather than the material itself, and ensure sufficient service life under cyclic loading.
Current sole designs in footwear primarily revolve around innovations in materials. However, I am looking to pioneer a structural innovation in sole design, drawing inspiration from biomechanical structures. This approach aims to integrate principles derived from natural biomechanics, facilitating a breakthrough that not only enhances the functionality of the soles but also optimizes their performance for better comfort and efficiency.
